Dear EatBibek,

I do apologize that the agent didn't get back to you. Unfortunately, we were unable to track down who is was that you talked to. So in regards to your questions our Organic Valley Milk vitamin D comes from Lanolin which is vegetable derived. Our vitamin A is palmitate it isn't derived from animal either . The non organic milks vitamin D is yeast derived. The vitamin A is palmitate the same as in the organic milk. As far as our cheese I am happy to tell you that all Kirkland Signature cheese's enzymes are not animal derived. If you have any further questions you can contact us back via e-mail or by phone at 800-774-2678.

Thank you,

Kassie Costco Wholesale Corporation
