Sevadars contacted Costco and here is their response:

I have been assigned to question regarding Costco Milk.

Specifically:

If the vitamin D in the Kirkland Signature 2% is vegetarian or not.

We do not carry dairy products on the website, so I had to check with the warehouse group. I apologize for the delay.

The answer I received back from the Warehouse group was:

The vitamin D can come from one of two sources. Sheep's wool or fish oil.

Vitamin A is derived from organic chemicals The main source being Beta Ionone.

If you have any further questions regarding your order, please feel free to contact me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Sincerely, Costco.com Resolutions Team
